Mental Health in the workplace
Working is good for our mental health because it can give us purpose and self worth. But a negative working environment that has bullies or makes you feel harassed can lead to physical and mental health problems. As an employee, if you want to improve your work environment, one way might be to make an appointment to speak with a supervisor or Human Resource Manager about the issues your are having and coming up with a plan to resolve them. As an employer, it is your responsibility to have an open and safe environment for communication.
We can change our negative feelings toward anxiety into positive ones. It all depends on communication, building a strong support system at work. What do you do to make your environment a positive one? Let us know if the comments below.
